The course is designed to familiarise personnel, who have no previous knowledge of programmable controllers,
 with the basic operation of the PLC based control systems used on a clients site, their capabilities,
 when and where they are used and an introduction to the system components,
 the maintenance of the systems and how they are configured to the special needs of that facility.
